Tonawanda, NY – A Tonawanda man has been charged with a non-criminal violation in the accident that resulted in the death of a State Trooper earlier this year.
Erie County District Attorney Frank Sedita announced Tuesday that 71-year-old Charles Ricotta will be arraigned in Town Court on July 12.
Ricotta was driving the pick-up truck that struck and killed Trooper Kevin Dobson on March 26. Dobson was standing on the shoulder of the Youngmann Highway issuing a ticket to another driver when he was hit.
