Buffalo, NY – McCullagh Coffee has purchased new equipment which allows the local company to prepare coffee for shipping faster than ever before.

The packaging machine will allow McCullagh to expand and take on larger accounts throughout the country.

Empire State Development was among several agencies that contributed funding incentives. ESD Regional Vice Pesident Ken Schoetz said investing in McCullagh will encourage economic growth and job creation.

"We are always looking for small manufacturing possibilities to assist, because that is where you know job growth comes from," said Schoetz.

McCullagh President and CEO Warren Emblidge Jr. said he hopes expanding the company will help grow the local economy.

"Today, in our world, the subject is how to create economic growth that's accompanied by meaningful increases in employment or to maintain existing employment," said Emblidge.

In addition to quickly preparing products for shipment, McCullough will use biodegradable packaging and soy-based ink for lableing.

McCullagh Coffee is currently being served in over 10,000 locations across the nation.
