Buffalo, NY – Roswell Park Cancer Institute is one of the nation's leading cancer hospitals, but patients seeking treatment at Roswell come from outside the country as well.
In fact, the Ontario Provincial Government has established an out-of-country care office that has been working with Roswell for years.
Kim Sweeney is Roswell's Senior Director of Therapeutic Services and Patient Access and Pam Germain is the Hospital's Vice President for Managed Care and Outreach.
Sweeney and Germain visited our WBFO studio's to talk with Bert Gambini about the cross-border relationship.
Germain said the process for Canadians seeking treatment in the U.S. begins simply with an assessment of that patient's needs.
