Former Buffalo cop charged for tax evasion

Buffalo, NY – A former Buffalo Police officer has pleaded guilty to a single count of attempted grand larceny for a failure to pay New York sales tax.

Forty-seven year old Johnnie Fritz, Jr. of Lockport admitted to not turning over nearly $13,000 in sales tax and to a failure to keep proper records from his car sales business.

He is facing a year in prison.
