Buffalo, NY – This week Jim and Tony take a look at a couple theatre favorites done with a twist and tell us about a new play on the horizon.
You'll hear a preview of O'Connell and Company's production of Over the Pub Jim and Tony say it is Tom Dudzick's popular Over the Tavern only with Guinness and corned beef instead of Pierogis. A.R. Gurney's skewed verson of Casa Blanca gets a the thumbs up. And Jim and Tony take on Machiavelli in a review of The Mandrake at the Irish Classical Theatre Company.
Then there is The Zooman and the Sign at Theatre Loft and a new play at Buffalo United Artists. It is about two gay men, a devout Christian and an atheist - no joke. But Jim and Tony say you will laugh during this new play premiering at BUA.
