Buffalo, NY – Terry Pegula was in Buffalo visiting the offices of the Buffalo Sabres Tuesday. The Pennsylvania businessman is reportedly interested in purchasing the team from owner Tom Golisano.
The Sabres issued a statement yesterday saying that Pegula was in town for informal discussions.
Neither Pegula nor team representatives were available for comment after the visit.
The Buffalo Sabres issued the following statement on Pegula's visit:
"As reported in various media outlets, Terry Pegula visited the Buffalo Sabres offices today for informal discussions. Neither the Sabres nor Mr. Pegula are available to comment on the visit."
The Sabres were in action Tuesday night, but lost to Flyers 5-2.
