Dunkirk, NY – An Amtrak passenger train collided this morning with a tractor-trailer in Dunkirk. Police say they are investigating the incident.
According to various reports, it happened around 8:40 Wednesday morning along Middle Road. 260-passengers were reportedly on board the Lake Shore Limited train the train heading from Chicago to Boston.
Reports say the tractor trailer was cut in half by the collision and the driver was killed. Passengers are now facing delays as crews remove wreckage and inspect the incident.
