Buffalo, NY – Two Buffalo firefighters were injured Wednesday night at a fire in a vacant house at 145 Michigan Avenue.
They were battling flames on the second floor when parts of the floor gave way. They fell to the first floor, which was not on fire. Both were hospitalized at ECMC with injuries described as "not life-threatening."
A third firefighter fell through the floor but was not injured. Investigators say the origin of the fire is suspicious.
