Buffalo, NY – A video is helping to rapidly spread the word about Buffalo's historic architectural landmarks and culture through social networking.
As WBFO'S Eileen Buckley tell us, the Buffalo Niagara Convention and Visitors Bureau says a video it co-produced has received more than 11,000 views on YouTube in just 48-hours.
CVB president and CEO Dottie Gallgher-Cohen said the six minute video was originally produced to convince the National Trust for Historic Preservation to hold its conference in Buffalo next year.
The video is titled "Buffalo: This Place Matters". It features dramatic aerial shots of downtown Buffalo and spectacular views of our waterfront and parkways.
The CVB recently worked with Paget Films to create this new video. Film maker John Paget lives in Buffalo.
Paget has also worked with the CVB to create other videos about Buffalo's culinary scene ("Buffalo: You'll Eat It Up!") and girlfriend getaway trips to Buffalo ("Buffalo: You're Looking Good!").
