Buffalo, NY – A public meeting is planned for Tuesday night to gather public input regarding a high-speed passenger rail link that would connect Niagara Falls and Buffalo with points east across the state to New York City.
The meeting will be sponsored by the state Department of Transportation and the Federal Railroad Administration. The trains are expected top travel at speeds that will exceed one hundred miles per hour, and the information gathered at the meeting will help to outline an environmental impact study.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m. in the Connecticut Street Armory in Buffalo.
