Buffalo, NY – Local Restaurant week begins one week from today with roughly 175 area restaurants offering special dishes at discount prices.
Meantime, perfect summer weather has certainly left many vegetable gardeners with a supply that exceeds demand. An upcoming competition will showcase some of the best ways of preserving that bounty.
We'll talk about both events on this week's Roundtable with Buffalo Rising's Newell Nussbaumer and Christa Glennie Seychew. I started our discussion by asking Newell what's happening with efforts to revitalize the connection on West Delevan from Main Street to Delaware Avenue and the Elmwood Village.
