Buffalo, NY – NPR's own Scott Simon will be in Buffalo Monday night for a book discussion at Medaille College. The Weekend Edition Host and author will be talking about themes in Malcolm Gladwell's book, Outliers: The Story of Success. The book was part of a summer reading program for undergraduate students.
But Simon will stick around after the talk to sign copies of his own new book, Baby We Were Meant for Each Other: In Praise of Adoption. WBFO's Joyce Kryszak had a chance to talk with Simon about his family's experience with adoption. He said it was a joyous, but not always easy process.
Simon will speak at 6:00 P.M. Monday night at Medaille College. The public is invited to attend the free event. Simon will be available after the discussion to sign copies of his new book.
