Buffalo, NY – Charges in what was thought to be a hate crime have been reduced.
Twenty-one year old Suzanne-Deanna Grover was arrested in connection with the stabbing of Lindsey Harmon outside of Roxie's nightclub last January. Sexual epithets were claimed to have been used in the attack, but a grand jury rejected hate crime charges.
Grover has pleaded guilty to assault charges. She'll face six months in jail and five years of probation at her November sentencing.
