Buffalo, NY – Twenty-three year old Spencer Cowart was shot last weekend and died late this week at Erie County Medical Center.
That tragic turn has increased charges against sixteen year old Darryl Tarver, who was arrested in the shooting. The extent of the new charges has not been determined, but Tarver was originally facing attempted murder and assault charges.
Cowart is the city's fortieth homicide of the year.
