Buffalo, NY – An historically significant building in the city's Cobblestone District has been cleared for demolition by a city judge.
The case could be back in court as the city is appealing that decision and preservationists push to save the structure. The nineteenth century building on South Park Avenue was once a blacksmith's shop. Owner Darryl Carr claims the building is ready to collapse.
Preservationists believe the structure could be part of development in the historic district.
