Buffalo, NY – A Buffalo teenager will talk a 600 mile walk to honor city homicide victims.

13 year old Brandon Louis lost his father six years ago. He will join Randy Sargent on August 28th from the steps of City Hall. They will participate in the Voices of Homicide Memorial Walk in D.C.

But in the wake of this past weekend's brutal shootings, their mission takes on a deeper meaning. Louis's mother was friends with two of the victims shot dead downtown.

WBFO'S Eileen Buckley talked with Louis and Sargent about how they met and the violence that surrounds the Buffalo teen's life.
