Buffalo, NY – The Transportation Security Administration is planning to begin installing full body scanners at the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport in August.
Not every security lane will be equipped with a scanner, and passengers can opt not to be scanned. The scans are destroyed after viewing, and images are viewed by agents of the same sex as the passenger.
Privacy filters will be installed with the scanners.
