Man arrested for phoning in bomb threat to Paladino headquarters

By Eileen Buckley

Buffalo, NY – A New York City man has been arrested for the bomb threat made to the Carl Paladino campaign in April.

US Attorney William Hochul announced Monday the arrest of 63-year old Miles Fisher of New York City. He is charged with conveying false information in connection with a bomb hoax.

The threat was called into Paladino's campaign headquarters in the Ellicott Square Building on April 13th. The threat was made after word surfaced that Paladino forwarded sexist and racist emails.

The federal complaint charges Fisher with saying he was -- quoting here -- "going to bomb all of you."

The fake threat led to the evacuation of the entire building. The charges carry a maximum penalty of 5 years in prison.
