Albany, NY – Economic and transportation officials met in Albany this week to discuss the future of high speed rail in New York. The state was recently awarded more than $150 million for rail improvements along the rail corridor that links Buffalo and Albany.

Advocates say high speed rail will create jobs and boost tourism. Dennis Mullen is chairman of the Empire State Development Corporation. He talked with host Susan Arbetter on the Capitol Pressroom on WBFO.
