The Fantastic Sams on Rossler Avenue in Cheektowaga is one of the chains 20-area salons collecting hair clippings to be used to absorb the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Each salon is expected to collect one pound of hair clippings a day -- for a total of 100-pounds of hair a week.
