Buffalo, NY – The former director of the Arts Council in Buffalo and Erie County has come under investigation by the District Attorney's office.
The News reports that Celeste Lawson was relieved of her duties in January amidst accusations of faulty accounting practices.
Lawson could be facing felony fraud charges if the investigation finds that she mishandled the organization's finances.
