Buffalo, NY – The City of Buffalo is planning to appeal a state court ruling that would delay a reduction in salaries with approximately seven hundred firefighters.
The city is looking to knock those salaries down by nearly six percent, but State Supreme Court Justice John Michalek has ruled that the city can't cut those salaries until multiple health insurance options are offered to the union.
The city is confident in its appeal. Lawyers for both sides return to court on June first.
