Collins was asked by reporters about Paladino's run for Governor and the recent e-mail scandal surrounding Paladino.

Collins and Carl Paladino are friends from the private sector. But Collins says he isn't ready to endorse any candidate for Governor, instead he is closely watching Paladino from the sidelines. However, Collins believes Paladino should consider toning down his approach.

Collins says he believes Paladino is facing the same kind of smear attack he faced a few months ago when consider a run for Governor. Collins was under fire for controversial comments.

But despite the national attention Paladino's comments snagged, a majority of voters in New York have no idea who Carl Paladino is. Collins tells WBFO News Paladino would need to win the September Republican primary.

Simply put, Collins said "Carl is Carl."
