Buffalo, NY – Protestors targeted the headquarters of US Energy Development Corporation in Getzville yesterday.
Nearly fifty people carrying signs and shouting slogans lobbied against the company's interest in drilling for gas and oil in Allegany State Park. Approval for the drilling must be given by park officials and the state Division of Mineral Resources.
The protest was organized by the University at Buffalo Environmental Network.
