Buffalo, NY – William Hochul, Jr. was formally sworn in as the United States Attorney for Western New York on Saturday. Chief US District Judge William Skretny presided over the ceremony.
Hochul has been an assistant US attorney for nineteen years and has handled numerous high profile cases, including those involving the Lackawanna Six, Laborers Local 91 of Niagara Falls and the Donald "Sly" Green gang drug case.
According to the Buffalo News, Hochul is highly respected by members of all facets of crime fighting, and he claims he will be very involved in the community.
