Buffalo, NY – Assembly Republican leader in Albany Brian Kolb is urging Governor David Paterson to declare a "State of Financial Emergency."
The declaration would provide the governor greater flexibility in addressing the state's financial crisis without facing legal challenges.
The state is currently facing a better than nine billion dollar deficit.
