Buffalo, NY – A featherweight battle ensued yesterday afternoon along Elmwood Avenue at Bidwell Parkway.
Dozens of people armed with pillows converged on the parkway and began a pillow fight on cue at around three o'clock. Feathers flew for approximately fifteen minutes before things peacefully settled.
The event was organized by Buffalo Flashmob, a Facebook entity that has organized such spontaneous group events in the past. The good natured battle brought out people of a variety of ages on a date that has been labeled International Pillow Fight Day.
More Flashmob events are expected to be planned for the future.
