Buffalo, NY – The New York Power Authority has appointed former board member Elise Cusak to a new part time position on its payroll.
Cusak will act as its community liaison, focusing on the development of CanalSide. The News reports that the post will pay more than seventy-seven thousand dollars per year.
Criticism from many fronts is being directed at the salary as well as Cusak's poor attendance record as a board member.
Power Authority president Richard Kessel defends Cusak as the right choice.
