Poet Mark Nowak returns to Buffalo

By Joyce Kryszak

Buffalo, NY – Poet Mark Nowak grew up on Buffalo's east side and never left behind the neighborhood's working class principles. His new book,Coal Mountain Elementary, is a shocking reminder of the dangers that are an everyday reality for many workers. Nowak will be at Hallwalls Thursday night at 7:00 P.M. reading from and talking about his book. But he stopped by our studios first for a conversation with WBFO's Joyce Kryszak.

The event is hosted by Talking Leaves and is free and open to the public.
