Buffalo, NY – The Veterans Memorial in the Town of Tonawanda will be expanded so that additional names can be represented.
The twelve original plaques adorning the graceful arc have been filled, and there are hundreds of new names that need to be added. The plan calls for another arc to be constructed, one that will mirror the original .
The ninety thousand dollar expansion will provide space for more than two thousand names. Funding for the project is being sought through a State grant.
