Buffalo, NY – A frigid and rising Eighteen Mile Creek has been the scene of a pair of incidents this weekend.
A sheriff's helicopter was called to rescue a jogger who had fallen into the waters on Friday night.
Saturday, two young boys slipped into the fast moving waters and were swept into the currents. The two were able to get themselves to land before help arrived. All parties were uninjured.
Continued rain today and melting snow could keep the waters at dangerously high levels.
