Buffalo, NY – An investigation by the US Food and Drug Administration is targeting findings of Salmonella bacteria in hydrolyzed vegetable protein, or HVP, a flavor enhancer used in a variety of foods.
Some soups, sauces, hot dogs and snack foods might be affected.
Tops Markets is already recalling Herb Ox flavor packs, T. Marzeti dip mixes and some McCormack spices among other products.
