DNA test leads to arrest in lingering rape case

Buffalo, NY – DNA testing has led to an arrest in a rape case stemming from 2002.

Forty-five year old Craig Burroughs has been charged in the rape of a fifteen year old girl as she was headed to school. The DNA test led authorities to Burroughs, who was on parole for other legal troubles.

He is facing charges of first degree rape and sodomy as well as charges for possession of a controlled substance.
