Buffalo, NY – County Executive Chris Collins is responding favorably to Buffalo developer Carl Paladino's possible run for Governor.

For now, Paladino is only considering a possible run with the support from the so-called tea party movement. Last week, Collins decided not to run for the state's top job citing a difficulty in financing a state-wide campaign. But Collins says he and Paladino share the same points of view in supporting significant change in Albany. Collins congratulates and thanks Paladino for thinking about a candidacy.

Collins is predicting that citizens will be paying attention to politics more than they ever in this year's election season.

Paladino is a Republican. But he said if he decides to run for governor he will be a third party candidate.
