Buffalo, NY – Niagara County SPCA officials seized a variety of dogs from a Wheatfield residence on Friday.
Joelle Kott was operating a dog rescue and boarding business, but authorities claim that the dog population was overwhelming her. Forty-seven dogs were seized and, because of conditions in the house, two children were transferred to their father by Child Protective Services.
Kott is facing two charges of endangering the welfare of a child. Both charges are misdemeanors.
