Senator Schumer could face competition in coming election

By Chris Jamele

Buffalo, NY – New York Senator Charles Schumer may be facing some competition in elections this fall.

Larry Kudlow, the host of the "Kudlow Report" on CNBC, is being pushed by a local political activist as a candidate against Schumer. Kudlow is also a blogger and a syndicated columnist.

Michael Caputo, who once worked for former congressman Jack Kemp, is impressed with similarities between Kemp's economic policies and those of Kudlow.

Kudlow is not contributing to the effort, but the push is getting some recognition.
