Local woman and adopted son survived Haiti quake

By Eileen Buckley

Buffalo, NY – A West Seneca woman and her adopted son survived the devastating earthquake in Haiti. But now they will be separated as she heads back home.

41 year old Erin Lancer, a teacher at Franklin Elementary School in the Ken-Ton School District, traveled to Haiti in hopes of completing the adoption of her three year old son Geoffry. But then the quake rocked Haiti.

We spoke, by phone, with her husband 44 year old Michael Lancer, a Buffalo attorney about his wife's ordeal.
