Buffalo, NY – Western New York's latest winter storm left some six to 10 inches of snow across many parts of the region Monday.
Driving was difficult during much of the afternoon commute as strong winds and blowing snow created white-out conditions. Numerous accidents were reported, but no one was seriously injured. The Skyway was closed for more than seven hours. The lake snow subsided during the evening hours, permitting plow crews to do their work.
All warnings and advisories for lake effect snow have been canceled.
