Buffalo, NY – The former operator of National Air Cargo could soon be back at the helm.
Christopher Alf continues to own the company, but he was removed from day-to-day operations after taking a guilty plea to defrauding the federal government, the company's largest customer. Alf paid a twenty-eight million dollar settlement in the case.
Saturday's Buffalo News reports an injunction to lift the government's ban was recently won by Alf. He is awaiting a decision on a blind trust agreement before returning to the company's offices.
