The Governor's numbers edged up for the second month in a row. On Monday's Capitol Pressroom on WBFO, Siena pollster Steven Greenberg says the embattled Paterson is being viewed more favorably than he was.
His favorability rating now stands at 36 percent, compared to a low of 27 percent last spring.
Still, the Siena poll shows state attorney general Andrew Cuomo has an overwhelming lead over Paterson in a hypothetical Democratic primary next year.
When it comes to the state's financial crisis, Greenberg says New Yorkers aren't sold on Paterson's plan to cut aid to local schools and municipal governments.
