Buffalo, NY – University at Buffalo Bulls coach Turner Gill has agreed to coach the University of Kansas football team.
The Associated Press is citing a person speaking on condition of anonymity because Kansas officials hadn't announced the move.
Gill was 20-30 in four years with the Bulls. His best season was 2008 when Buffalo won the MAC championship and went to its first ever bowl, Toronto's International Bowl.
Yahoo! Sports was the first to report Gill's hiring.
Gill reportedly met with a Kansas athletics official in New York City on December 6th.
Gill coached the Bulls to a 5-7 record this past season, winning its last two games.
