Buffalo, NY – A new patient visitation policy is in effect at Kaleida Health hospitals with an increase in flu cases and suspected cases of H1NI virus.
Kaleida says in an effort to protect patients, visitors and staff, the hospitals are limiting patient visits to parents, guardians, grandparents and spouses. The Kaleida Hospitals are also limiting the number of visitors for patients to two at at time. If any visitor has flu-like symptoms, they are urged not to visit a patient.
Kaleida facilities include Buffalo General Hospital, DeGraff Memorial Hospital, Millard Fillmore Gates, Millard Fillmore Suburban and Buffalo's Women & Children's Hospital.
