Buffalo, NY – A 26 year old woman was found dead in South Buffalo Wednesday afternoon.
Buffalo homicide detectives are investigating. South District police were called to the 1500 block of South Park Avenue before 1 p.m. Wednesday. That's where they discovered the body of a woman in her bed in an upper apartment.
Chief of Detectives Dennis Richards is calling the death "suspicious".
An autopsy will be performed by the Erie County Medical Examiners office to determine an exact cause of death. Police are not releasing her name at this time.
