Buffalo, NY – CA non-partisan think-tank released a report Tuesday that said the state's low-cost power programs should be scrapped. The New York City-based Citizens Budget Commission found fault with all nine programs designed to spur economic development. State lawmakers are doing their own review.
Wednesday, they will meet in Niagara Falls with members of the commission and industry leaders to discuss possible changes. WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with Assemblyman Kevin Cahill. The downstate Denmocrat is chair for the Assembly's energy committee. He outlines their agenda and some possible reforms.
