Buffalo, NY – Hallwalls Contemporary Art Center is having a 35th birthday celebration. But they want art lovers to take home the gifts. A two-part auction will be held Thursday night at Babeville and in New York city at Christies in September. The auctions offer art lovers a chance to own works by some of the biggest names in not only Hallwalls' history - but the entire art world. WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with Hallwalls Executive Director Ed Cardoni about the auction and the center's legacy.

The gala and silent auction at Babeville begin at 6:00 PM. The live auction starts at 8:00 PM. More information about tickets and bidding is available at Hallwalls Contemporary Art Center
