Williamsville, NY – Autistic Services celebrated the addition of five new classrooms to its Williamsville site with a ribbon cutting Thursday.
The expanded educational program will accommodate an additional 42 children, bringing the total number of children served by the facility to 72. Lisa Kowal was a leading advocate for the expansion and said her son loves attending the school.
"The people at Autistic Services are incredible," Kowal said. "Everyday, they meet the challenges of working with our children with an excellent attitude. I know my son is happy and safe. As a parent, that means everything."
Autistic Services has also opened two new adult programs. Plus, the expansion includes an art gallery to display the artwork of students.
