Buffalo, NY – South District Council member Michael Kearns filed his nominating petitions Thursday afternoon in his run for mayor of Buffalo. He collected more than the 5,000 signatures.
Kearns spoke out against the campaign of Mayor Byron Brown for putting pressure on some City Hall workers to work on his re-election bid.
Brown filed his campaign petitions earlier this week vowing to review all signatures handed in by other mayoral candidates to make sure they were circulated correctly.
