WBFO News – The weeklong political drama over who is in control of the State Senate was back in court Friday morning.
The Senate's Democratic conference seeks to prove that a power grab on Monday by a coalition of Republicans and two dissident Democrats was illegal.
After hearing initial legal arguments, state Supreme Court Justice Thomas McNamara ordered lawyers for the Republican and Democrat contenders back to court next week. McNamara says if the senators can't sort out the leadership dispute by Monday afternoon, he'll rule one way or the other in time for a scheduled session.
