A winter weather advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. Monday night until 11 a.m. Tuesday for Northern Erie, Niagara, Genesee and Orleans Counties. That includes the City of Buffalo and Niagara Falls.

We haven't experienced any snow for over a month. But that all changes Monday night a s rain will gradually mix with wet snow. Metrologist Dave Sage is with the National Weather Service in Buffalo. He says all areas across the region should pick up some snow accumulation.
