Buffalo, NY – A wind advisory remains in effect until 6 p.m. Saturday for all of Western New York.
It has been a windy day across the region. Winds have been averaging between 25 to 35 miles an hour. Gusts have been as high as 50-miles an hour. The strong winds will subside late Saturday.
The National Weather Service says a storm system affecting our region left behind some new snow across the region. In Erie County, more than six inches of snow fell this morning in West Falls, Colden received about four inches. Two inches fell in East Aurora and in Wyoming County, five inches of snow is on the ground in Warsaw.
